Today I took Alex to our first ever trip to New York Comic Con, which was held at the Jacob K Javits Convention Center located at 655 W 34th St New York, NY 10001. I had heard what a nightmare this event was as far as crowding, so we decided to go on kids day, which was Sunday, hoping it would be less packed. Even though it costs freakin $40 to get into this place, it was still a mad house, but we had a great time, and they had lots of kid friendly items and events.
Alex dressed up in his Red Power Rangers costume, which he's been wearing for the last three days!

Sorry about the lack of updates.
Today I took Alex to the Alex Rodriguez book signing at FAO Schwarz.
Alex Rodriguez only signed copies of his book Out of the Ballpark that were purchased at the FAO Schwarz in New York City (767 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY 10153).
Unfortunately due to the total number of people who attended the signing (I heard it was between 300-400 people), I could not get a picture of Alex with Alex Rodriguez.
We had a photographer for the New York Post take our picture while we waited on line, so hopefully we'll be in the newspaper tomorrow.
Photogrpahers from MLB.com and AROD's site also took Alex's picture, so we may also show up there!
I have the images on our Collector Site

New York Yankees 9
Chicago Cubs 6
Hideki Matsui hit a go-ahead homer and drove in five runs as New York rallied late to keep the Chicago Cubs winless at Yankee Stadium with a 9-6 victory Friday night. Matsui homered, doubled and singled in leading New York to its fourth straight win. The Cubs fell to 0-5 in the ballpark, having been swept in the World Series in 1932 and 1938. They had not been back in the Bronx for 67 years.
Carlos Zambrano, the first Cubs pitcher to face a New York lineup at Yankee Stadium since Dizzy Dean, took a two-run lead into the seventh. But Sheffield doubled with one out and Rodriguez followed with an RBI single that finished Zambrano.
Matsui promptly lined a 2-0 pitch from lefty Will Ohman (2-1) over the right-field wall for a 7-6 lead.
Mike Stanton (1-1) got two outs, and Mariano Rivera worked the ninth for his 15th save in 17 chances.

Special delivery for the Hipolito's arrives at North Shore hospital in Manhasset.
Blessed with a strapping baby boy weighing in at 10 pounds 13 ounces, he'll be hitting 400 foot homeruns in no time.
Ten fingers and ten toes, a full head of hair, and a cute button nose.
He looks perfect, at least to me, wait until we bring him home to meet the pomeranian and puggy!
